Barkleys Foundation Agility Course
This 6-week course will lay a solid foundation to enable you and your dog to progress to the next stage of agility training, which is equipment proficiency. Within the Foundation Agility Course, you will learn through fun games to:-
*Form a good working relationship with your dog
*Build a training reward system
*Teach the ‘Wait’ command
*Train ‘Directional’ commands
*Understand body language
*Train handling manoeuvres
*Proof of commands
*Motivational commands & other beneficial advice
This course will need to be completed by each dog to progress to the next stage of agility. This course is suitable for all breeds of dog aged 4 months and above. The course cost is £110 and will take place either at Barkleys Dog Training Academy's outdoor training venue at Ossett or our indoor facility at Thornes (weather dependant) . Agility Taster Sessions
Do you think your dog has agility potential? Are you looking for a fun way for them to burn off some energy whilst learning a new skill? Why not come down and have a go at our super fun agility taster session!
In this fun filled 60 minute session, you and your dog will be able to have a go at some basic agility with a range of equipment including jumps, tunnels, and more!
Our agility taster sessions are £30, and must be booked and paid for in advance in order to guarantee your place.
