UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze, Silver & Gold Scent Detection Classes
This course will enable you to teach your dog the basics of scent work and indication in a real life setting (the lovely Dewsbury Rams Stadium) with your dog and, if you choose to, compete in fun trials within the region with other people from local dog training establishments who are part of the UK Sniffer Dogs Community.

Did you know that, depending on breed and type, a dog's sense of smell is between 10,000- 100,000 better than ours?
Humans can smell a teaspoon of sugar in a cup of tea..... dogs can detect 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar in an Olympic-sized swimming pool
Scent work is suitable for all dogs breeds and all ages - puppies use their sense of smell from birth! It can be fabulous to help with reactivity issues, puppy biting, jumping up at people, and rescue cases. Unlike classes like agility that require dogs to work independently from their owner - so a lot of off-lead work - this is a class that you can do on-lead and your dog will find highly stimulation, highly arousing and mentally tiring!
